Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results - Albert Einstein

no goddamn NO!

"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

we need less government, not more handouts. i'm sick of people who don't know me and what i value telling me what they are going to do with my money. sure sure, retort i should vote in the people i like - but with only two choices for president, i can't.

to me, that's a huge reason why we have such high voter apathy - you have to vote for someone you think will do the least bad job. how fucked up is that?

this, however, makes me laugh:

"He (billy clinton) was here so dad gum much when he was president that outside of Arkansas, his highest level of support is probably the Bay Area," said Martha Whetstone, executive director of the Bar Association of San Francisco and a longtime friend of both Clintons. "And San Francisco has always been Hillary country. They get her here -- there's a real appreciation for independent, intelligent women."

if she's so independent and intelligent.. why does she stay married to bill? i'd actaully gain respect for her if she'd divorce his cheating, lying ass. i can't imagine why a single support of woman's rights likes her..

i mean, she's ridden bill's coattails into office.. she's put up with his repeated affairs.. i say, stand up, boot his ass to the curb and make an image of yourself. as long as she's married to him, she's just the idiot who keeps his name to keep her recognition high.

hell, billy even switches what he says happened regarding monica in his book. i mean, his sworn tesitimony on when the affair started.. he had testified, to the best of my recollection, it started after she left the intern position.. but then in the book, said it started while she was an intern.

of course, an impeachment over what happened is silly.. but damnit, why lie?
