yes, yes, i know it's best to focus on yourself and not others - but this thing really irks me.

i hate it when people act and behave as if they want one thing when they really want something else.

there's lots of reasons people do it.. perhaps they don't realize what they really want - a subconscience thing going on. perhaps they are scared to admit what they want or embarassed.. or they expect me (or whoever) to read their mind and see what they really mean/want.

it just irks me.

if you want something or think a certain way, then get it or say it.

just think how much simplier life would be.. how much happier everyone would be if honesty were something actaully done, not just talked about.

in fact.. every time you arn't forthright about things, you are lying. more than likely lying to poeple you call family, friends... even if it's to strangers, why lie if you don't have to?

screw all the rationalization crap that you can do about things - that's just lying to yourself.. lies on top of lies.

so yes, i'm tired of people telling 'white' lies.. or whatever other rationalization term they have for it.

dressing it up and calling it something 'nice' sounding doesn't change a damn thing.

a piece of shit by another name still smells as bad.

i can't think of a faster way to annoy me or to lose respect than to tell me some silly little lie.

of course, by the same token.. there's no faster way to get my respect than by telling me the truth.. even if it might be something i don't want to hear.
