up, down and an itch

my mood has been jumping up and down a lot lately. i get a piece of good news that makes me really happy, but then i crash. i'd much prefer nothing good to happen, so that i'd not get depressed.

silly huh?

what i'd really like to do is hang out with some folks outside of this apartment and/or school. i dunno why, but the itch to be with someone who isn't in anything like a similiar position as me has grown very strong.
