labels and delusions
January 07, 2004 - 5:11 pm

never knew we were living in a world

with a mind that could be so sure

never knew we were living in a world

with a mind that could be so small

- silverchair, anthem for the year 2000

i've been thinking about recent things, recent happenings and.. when i do, this song pops into my head.

good or bad, right or wrong.. it's the way i think and the label i give you.

i wish as a person i didn't feel the need to label, but i do - everyone does. perhaps you don't like the word label, but that's semantics - everyone labels.

each day i'm feeling much, much better about myself. perhaps i'm only learning to accept my own delusions.

reality is only what you preceive it to be.. so i'm not really too concerned with that.

part of me wants to email you and explain my thinking, my reasonsing - but i saw the other day you took me off your buddy list. that made me laugh. it seems you weren't even serious about us being friends.
