i was right

i said this when i first saw it.. and several people told me to get my head out of my ass. today i find an article from jessica lynch saying almost exactly what i said. sometimes, my government really, really makes me feel ill. ok, more than sometimes.. it's too big, to bloated.. er, i don't want to get off on that tangent.

anyway, i said then was that her rescue was made overly dramatic and used as PR event - at the time it happened there was tons of bad news and the choice was made to film the 'rescue' and use it as s source of 'good' press.

in other news, i've compiled a semeblance of the information i need for my group report. we are meeting in one hour, so that should all end up fine..
