kill bill, sex and violence
October 12, 2003 - 10:17 pm

i saw kill bill this afternoon. it wasn't like his other films.. it's lots and lots of blood and silly gore. actaully, very little of substance just gratuitous violence.

i think it's sad that in our culture a movie can be nothing but violence and get rave reviews.. a movie that's really about nothing more than one person trying to get revenge and kill several other poeple that nearly killed in the one person... but a movie about sex is porn and not to be shown.

let's be honest, if you're going to pass judgement on what's good and what's bad - is it worse to see a person get his/her head decapitated or see two people have sex?

why is sex so taboo and violence so glorified?

it's horrible for kids to know what sex is? it's horrible to see naked people?

personally, i'd rather my kid, if/when i have any, see sex instead of violence.

anyway, just my two cents.

i'd recommend kill bill if you like that kinda movie.. but not at the full late night price. it's nothing special, unless you really get off on fake blood and unrealistic fighting scenes.
