big changes dawning on me

last night i was watching tv in my skivvies and that this time next month, i won't be doing this. i'll be living in an apartment with three other guys.

no only that, i'll be sharing a bedroom with one guy.

i know none of these people.

sure, roomates are a part of college. i did the roomate thing in my undergrad years. i've since lived alone, completely alone, for the past four years...or is it five? four and half is close enough.

i started to do the math again, how much this is going to cost me.. and i was flabbergasted to again see how much the assistantship saves me. this time, i compared the cost of school in VA to the cost of school here in PA. hands down, VA is cheaper. even though i'm a PA resident, grad credit run to the very upper reaches of $500 range. i'm going to be paying $235.

back to the whole roomie thing.

goddamn, so very, very much about my life is going to drastically different.

on a completely seperate note..

people need to get over knee-jerk reactions. we don't need more laws. laws treat symptoms. we need to find the cause and address that. the government just fucks things up.
