ahead of the curve?
April 27, 2003 - 8:59 pm

i watched part of forrest gump today. first time i saw any of it.

let me sum it up this way.. while watching tom hanks play gump, i thought about dustin hoffman playing rainman.

granted they have different mental disorders, but still...is there even a comparison??

i went to my parents home for a bit today. helped them move some stones around and such. my back is hurting a bit, but it's still miles and miles from what it used to be like. my back quack might be a freaky kinda guy, but damn if he didn't fix my back.

it occurred to me today whilst driving (yeah, i like the word 'whilst') that this upcoming grad school deal is probably the most planned out thing i've done.

it's months out and i've tentitive plans with my folks about storing stuff and getting said stuff down to their place.

i should know in a short amount of time where i'll be living.

i should finally know this week what my financial aid status is - which is really the only thing left that can stop things happening.

i picked my classes and what kind course load i want to have over the next two years - though i'm a little leery about not having some kind of internship planed... but hell, i've still not actaully talked to my advisor.

i'm oddly concerened about this. i'm much too ahead of the curve.
