i watched gosford park last night. did that movie win awards? why was it even nominated? generally speaking, i love a good mystery. heck, i even like dubious ones. i love columbo. grew up watching matlock and murder she wrote. the usual suspects is one of my favorite movies. if i ever happen to catch charlie chan or murder on the orient express or anything like that on tv, i watch it. gosford park sucked. again, generally speaking, i tend to like movies with open endings that let you wonder about things. again, gosford park sucked.

now that that horse is dead...

it's pretty damn hot. i don't mind the heat, but it's humid. that's what i don't like. my balls are sweating. that's never good.

i think i'm going to attempt to be social today. there's a festival of sorts going on up the road. i think i'm going to go. walk around for a good five minutes and come back home. can't over do these social forays.
