"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown this morning was very nice and peaceful at work. a few scattered calls, nothing big or pressing. a good, if slow, business as normal day. the afternoon fucking sucked. i thought about buying a gun. i still might. i dunno, that place just pisses me off. it kills me how many people just can't do the simple job they have. that's all it really takes for things to work. just do what you get money to do. of course that goes back to my theory that money is what's fucked up the world. money is what we 'slave' for and yet...really what's it worth? my paycheck get's deposited electronically...so really to me money i just a collection of electronic one's and zero's. how can everyone expect the money businesses do and the salary they make to grow each year? well, we can cause we just make more money. money's an abstract thing really. that's why prices keep going up and up...that coffee used to be a quarter and now its a buck something. is coffee somehow worth more today??? NO! it's a freaking beans and water, just the same as always (unless you go to starbucks, then i have no idea what it is). the companies have to make more money to keep shareholders happy and have to pay more money to employees happy...so up and up go the prices. plus, we've made more money...so each dollar is worth less (inflation). it's silly. if money were to have value, it needs to be finite. a cap on how much money there is. just printing more...i hate the idea that i spend the vast majority of my time working for something i need, but really is worthless.
