"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown

vacation day 7

i don't feel much like writing here today. i have to go back to work tomorrow. i'm bummin about that.

but really, i just don't have much to say.

here, have some quotes...

"There are of course many problems connected with life, of which some of the most popular are `Why are people born?' `Why do they die?' `Why do they spend so much of the intervening time wearing digital watches?'"

--Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy

"Tut tut Child," said the Dutchess, "everything's got a moral,

if only you can find it."

--Lewis Caroll

"There was only one catch and that was Catch22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask, and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he hadto fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to."

-- Joseph Heller, Catch22

"You know, Hobbes, sometimes even my lucky rocketship underpants don't help."

-- Calvin (Bill Watterson)

"My chief want in life is someone who shall make me do what I can."

-- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads?"

-- Albert Camus
