"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown

Cracker...
2001-05-12 - 3:38 p.m.

Well..I havn't written to much because of my back. My chair at ye-olde-rickety-Walmart-some-assembly-required computer desk doesn't seem to be the best at lower back support. In the chairs defense, no chair really seems to be good. It's not so much the sitting that hurts, but it's when I stand up. The backquack asked me 'what action makes your back hurt the most, with the sharpest pain?' I gave him a confused look and replied, 'Sneezing.' He blinked and looked at me like a moron, but hey, sneezing sucks. I know it't not what he meant, but its the truth. I've never been so glad that I dont suffer from pollen allergies.

Well, I'm going to take my 'rents advice and stop with all the 'back talk', nice pun huh?

Have you seen those commercials from ING Direct? That savings acount deal they have rocks. It has a 5% interest rate on savings accounts, that BEATS most CD's and Money Market accounts. It also looks pretty easy to money in and out of. It's atleast worth a look, www.ingdirect.com.

There were several topics I wanted to ramble about, but didn't get the chance to. My moods have changed and as much as I'd like to get some things out of my system...I'm just not in the mood.

I'm thinkin' about gettin' one of those 'work at home' jobs. Get some extra cash to stash away and put my computer to some good (at least constructive) use. Anyone out there got any recommendations? I know there's tons of scams, but I'm hoping one or two of you (if there is more than one or two...) have had a good experience and can recommend something.

I got my mom a glass kangaroo with alittle baby 'roo in the pouch. She collects the little figurines and I don't think she has a roo yet and with the little baby roo, I think it fits mother's day nicely. Go me.

Never go shoe shopping with a bad back.

Paper shredders are soothing.

Only working four days a week is a nice treat now and then.

Driver's tests should include an IQ test or at least a common sense test.

I've stopped eating sweetened banana chips. I dunno why, I think I got tired of them.

I've started snacking on garlic flavored pretzel nibbers and/or unsalted pretzels.

I've love pepper, but I've never liked salt. Does that mean I'm truely mentally disturbed?

I wanna go to a casino and play some real poker. Perhaps I've watched Rounders one to many times...but I just love the idea of poker.

I need a good music program, MusicMatch Jukebox is TO DAMN SLOW. I think to go find Winamp.

Here be some wise words:

'hey hey its ok to make alittle mess out of your life. cause you dont diagram to tell you how to have a good time. i said hey, dont mean to frighten you away but this is cracker soul and it comes so easy. i said hey, dont get your head a mess this is just the best comes so easy, it comes so easy. hey hey its ok to never know the answer but ask why.'

OH OH! Here's a piece of 'Kraven Triva'.

Cracker was the first band I saw live. The Meatpuppets opened for them. At the time I didnt know them and thought they sucked. Now I wished I paid a bit more attention to 'em.
