Dreaming and not doing...

There were no trees in sight. There was nothing up there but one of those grey five-gallon drum like things that's on a pole every now and then. Of course, there was also the power cables themselves.

The man, who was slowly rising higher and higher, was holding a chainsaw.

All I know is that.. my power didn't go out, so I guess it all turned out ok.

The other day I set about writing.. little motivational ideas on a slip of paper with the idea of taping them to my monitor. I don't have any tape.

I liked one of them:

What's the point of dreaming.. if you never get to doing?

I thought that was too long, so I shortened it to:

Dreaming + Doing = Living

I'm not sure where the slip of paper has gotten to. That's me in a nutshell. I'm good with the ideas.. but not, usually, the doing them.

I've made a couple plans recently. Good plans. I haven't started any of them yet. Sometimes I fib to myself and say I'm still noodling the ideas.. ponder them.. tweaking them. Perhaps I am. Still...
